Revamped Geography

I sat down and played through Captain Comic 2 the other night (though could not finish due to the bug.... fffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu). It was at this point that I went back to working on Arnthak and realised that the environment design was pretty... bad. Everything looked really ad hoc, and there was actually no 'pressure' in it at all. The player could simply run across the map and ignore all dangers. This was not good enough.

As a result, I archived all the map chunks and started from scratch. Each map chunk is now plotted out on some custom grid paper, which gives me a nice 500x500 map (broken down into 10x10 squares for sanity). I can now plan out the directions that the player moves through chunks, and the general flow. So far, I've done 8 chunks - which is actually a better rate than what I'd been working at prior.
